Blizzard® Announces New Snow Plow and Hopper Spreader

Blizzard, a cutting-edge manufacturer of snow plows and ice control equipment, announced the launch of two products – the new BLIZZARD 9000HD snow plow and the upgraded BLIZZARD ICE CHASER™ poly electric hopper spreader.

BLIZZARD 9000 Heavy Duty Straight Blade Snow Plows

The new BLIZZARD 9000HD straight blade snow plow is nine feet of heavy-duty, rugged performance.  The HD Straight Blade snow plow is designed to get more work done in less time. It features a flared moldboard that rolls snow farther ahead and to the side, an aggressive cutting edge angle, optimized plow blade curl, and the fast hydraulically-powered POWER HITCH™2 mounting system built to withstand punishing conditions, support the hydraulic system and secure the plow to the vehicle. The BLIZZARD 9000HD straight blade now plow's solid welded 12-gauge moldboard features six reinforcement ribs for added strength and performance.

BLIZZARD ICE CHASER Hopper Spreader

Built on a heritage of industry-leading technology, BLIZZARD® brings forward-thinking innovation to a new level in the next generation ICE CHASER poly electric hopper spreader. The new line of BLIZZARD ICE CHASER poly/electric hopper spreaders feature a one-piece poly design that is virtually maintenance free. Dual electric conveyor and spinner motors provide independent conveyor and spinner control, while the rugged pintle chain conveyor delivers smooth material flow, for precise spread patterns and spread rates.  The ICE CHASER is available in 7- or 8-foot lengths and in 1.5-, 1.8- and 2.5-cubic yard capacities.
